Eighteen holes on a nine-hole course holds two tee times
Booking an 18-hole rate at a nine-hole course means playing the same nine twice, so the sheet now holds a second tee time about two hours later for the same group. There's no second charge — the 18-hole rate already covers both nines. It shows on the sheet tagged “turn · 2nd nine” so it reads as one round rather than a duplicate booking, and your reports count it as one round too. If the afternoon is full it says so instead of quietly booking nine holes. You set the gap, or switch it off, and staff can untick it on a single booking when a group is only playing nine.

Saved block-outs, with a weekly automatic switch
Save the windows you close every week — league night, a standing outing, cart-path mornings — as a name, a day and a time. Press Apply to take them off the sheet now, or switch on Automatic and it happens every week on its own, with new tee times blocked the same night they're created. A time someone has already booked is never pulled out from under them; it tells you which ones to cancel yourself.

Cash tips, asked at clock-out
Card tips are already on the tab. Cash tips are the one payroll number you can't work out from your own takings, so the clock-out now asks while the person is still standing at the till. They can type it, tap “Text me a link” and do it on their phone, or skip — and skipping records nothing, so a shift nobody answered stays blank instead of claiming a zero. The same box appears on the “you didn't clock out” link, and cash tips come through as their own column on the payroll export. Both the prompt and the text-me-a-link button have their own on/off switch.

Adding someone to your team is one email field
Type their email and they get a link to set their own password, phone number and 4-digit register PIN. That's also the only way a PIN stays a secret the employee actually owns. The hourly rate and the tip-pool tick are gone from the person form — both now come from the role someone clocks in as, which is where a shift already picks up its pay rate. Adding by hand is still there for anyone without an email address.

Worth doing: Check every pay role has an hourly rate on it. A role with no rate means a shift recorded with no pay attached.
Red, amber and green on the kitchen screen
Every ticket now carries a coloured dot and a matching border: red means nobody has started it, amber means it's being made, green means it's done and waiting to be collected. The minutes since the order came in sit in the corner and turn amber at ten and red at twenty. Orders handed over by table number, buzzer or tent card have always shown here alongside the ones that text the customer.

Phone numbers are checked before a tab opens
The number formats itself as it's typed, so a missing or doubled digit is visible in the field, and the finished number is read back in full for the customer to confirm. A number that isn't a real ten digits is now refused. Before, the tab opened anyway with nobody attached to it, and the first anyone knew was the “your order is ready” text going nowhere.

The booking screen no longer waits on the customer
Send an approval link or push a charge to the reader and the form hands itself straight back for the next person in the queue. The booking you just took moves to a line at the top with the customer's name and tee time, and sorts itself out there — a spinner while you wait, a tick when they pay, a cross if it's declined. You can have several going at once.

Any date range on the dashboard
Today, 7 days and 30 days are still there, and next to them is a custom range with a start and end date. Pick the same day twice to read a single day. Now you can ask what the tournament weekend actually did, or how June compared with May.

What the weather was doing
The year-on-year card now carries the conditions for both days — today and the day it's comparing against — whatever they were. When there were no takings at all last year it finishes the sentence for you: “It was heavy rain that day.” Shown either way on purpose; if it only appeared when it excused a bad number it would become a way of explaining away every quiet day.

Worth doing: Enter your ZIP code once, in Settings → Venue → Location. Nothing shows until you do.
The rate for the day is chosen by the day, not by price
Booking screens used to pre-select whichever eligible rate was cheapest. They now pick by the day of the week, and the slot is labelled WEEKDAY or WEEKEND next to the time so it's obvious which price list is in force. Staff can still change it — only the starting point moved. The same fix went onto your public booking page.
